SEOGets is a popular way to get more out of Google Search Console. It has a free plan with unlimited properties, a $59/month Core plan that adds GA4, MCP and agency reporting, and a $10/site/month Super Sites add-on for history past 16 months. People look for alternatives for three common reasons:
- they need long-term history on many sites and don't want to pay per site,
- they want MCP or raw data access without a $59 plan, or
- they want something narrower: a warehouse, a spreadsheet, or an SEO testing tool.
This roundup covers seven options. I only included products whose features and prices I could check on their own sites, on 8 October 2026. I build SiteLine, which is listed first. The table is the fair part, so read it before the pitch. Head-to-head detail: SiteLine vs SEOGets.

1. SiteLine: archive every site for one flat price
SiteLine imports Search Console through Google's API with the read-only webmasters.readonly scope. On connect it backfills the ~16 months Google still holds, then stores every day for as long as you subscribe. Imports refresh every 4 hours and re-import the latest 7 days, because Google revises recent figures. It covers Web, Image, Video, News, Discover and Google News, and stores up to 25,000 rows per day per report.
Why pick it over SEOGets: history past 16 months is included on every tier for unlimited Search Console sites, not paid per site. MCP is on every plan from $4.99, with one server for Search Console and one for analytics. Cookieless on-site analytics comes in the same subscription. See pricing.
Where it falls short: there's no free plan, it's one user per subscription today, there are no client portals or GA4 import, and it stores 25,000 rows rather than SEOGets' 50,000. It can't request indexing.
Setup guides: connect Search Console, Google Search Console MCP.
2. Search Console itself (UI + API)
Free and first-party. The Performance report keeps about 16 months and shows about 1,000 rows per table. The Search Analytics API returns up to 25,000 rows per request, and you can paginate further. If you schedule API pulls into your own database, you have built an archive. You also own OAuth, quotas, retries and storage.
Pick it when an engineer will own the pipeline, or the 16-month window and 1,000-row UI really are enough. Background: 16-month limit, export more than 1,000 rows, Search Console API vs MCP.
3. BigQuery bulk export
Search Console can send a daily export into your own Google Cloud project. Google's help centre says the export includes all performance data except anonymised queries, and is not limited by the daily row limit. The first export happens up to 48 hours after setup, and it does not backfill. Google points you to the API or reports for data before your setup date. You need a Cloud project with billing; usage above BigQuery's free level is charged. Only property owners can configure it. Sources: About bulk data export, Start a new bulk data export.
Pick it when you have SQL skills and a Cloud account, and want the most complete forward record. Pair it with an API or hosted backfill for the months Google still holds today. Decision guide: BigQuery vs hosted Search Console.
4. Looker Studio
Free dashboards on Google's native Search Console connector. It reads the live 16-month window on every refresh. It does not store rows, so last year empties out once the days age out of Search Console. It works well as a presentation layer on top of BigQuery or another store you own. Details: Looker Studio Search Console limits.
Pick it when you want free client charts and someone else holds the archive.
5. Search Analytics for Sheets
A Google Sheets add-on that pulls Search Analytics and URL Inspection data into a spreadsheet, with unlimited daily and monthly automated requests on every plan. Its pricing page lists:
- Free: up to 10,000 rows per request
- Pro: up to 100,000 rows per request, $16–19/month depending on billing period
- Unlimited: "all available rows" per request, $41–49/month
Scheduled monthly backups into Sheets are a cheap DIY archive. They are only as complete as the requests you configured, and spreadsheets get slow at scale.
Pick it when your team lives in Sheets and you can maintain the backup tabs.
6. SEOTesting
SEOTesting is built around time-based and split SEO tests on Search Console data. It also has content groups and query and page reports past the 1,000-row cap, up to 50,000 rows a day according to its GSC data page. Pricing is per site, and every plan has unlimited users:
- Single Site: $50/month
- Medium (5 sites): $125/month
- Large (20 sites): $375/month
- Enterprise: on request
There's a 14-day free trial with no card. Its own help centre is candid that SEOTesting "is not a Search Console archiving tool": most reports query the API at runtime, and stored data is limited to things like dashboards, tests and content groups (Data Storage).
Pick it when proving that an on-page change worked is the main job. That overlaps SEOGets' SEO testing feature.
7. Ahrefs Webmaster Tools (Ahrefs Free)
Ahrefs Webmaster Tools, now branded Ahrefs Free, is free for unlimited verified websites. It includes Site Audit with 5,000 crawl credits per project per month, Site Explorer with up to 1,000 backlinks and keywords visible at once, and a cookieless web analytics script. Keyword and backlink data come from Ahrefs' own index, not your Search Console rows. So it complements a GSC tool rather than archiving one.
Pick it when you want free technical audits and backlink visibility alongside GSC.
How to choose
- Need history past 16 months on many sites, cheaply: SiteLine. Or BigQuery plus an API backfill if you run Cloud.
- Need agency reporting and client portals: stay on SEOGets Core.
- Need warehouse-scale SQL: BigQuery bulk export, with Looker Studio on top.
- Need a free spreadsheet workflow: Search Analytics for Sheets on scheduled requests.
- Need to prove SEO changes worked: SEOTesting, or SEOGets' SEO testing.
- Need free audits and backlinks: Ahrefs Webmaster Tools.
Whatever you choose, start copying soon. No tool can recover days Google has already dropped. The GSC data expiry calculator shows which month leaves the window next. For filtering queries in any of these tools, the GSC regex builder writes RE2 patterns for you.

FAQ
What is the cheapest SEOGets alternative for long-term Search Console history?
Among tools that store history for you, SiteLine's $4.99 Starter tier covers unlimited Search Console sites. Free DIY routes exist, like the API into your own database, BigQuery bulk export, or scheduled Sheets pulls, but you pay in setup and maintenance. BigQuery is also billed above its free usage level.
Is there a free SEOGets alternative?
Search Console itself, Looker Studio, Search Analytics for Sheets' Free plan and Ahrefs Webmaster Tools are all free. None of them gives you a stored multi-year GSC archive without extra work. SEOGets' own Free plan is also a strong free option within the 16-month window.
Which SEOGets alternatives support MCP for Claude or ChatGPT?
Of the tools here, SiteLine is the only one that lists an MCP server, and it's included on every tier. SEOGets offers MCP on Core. With the others, you would build your own integration on the API or BigQuery.
Does BigQuery bulk export replace SEOGets?
Not on its own. It's a forward-only data feed with no backfill and no SEO interface. You need SQL or Looker Studio on top, plus a backfill for earlier months.
Can any alternative recover Search Console data older than 16 months?
No. Google deletes Performance data after about 16 months, and no tool can bring it back. Archives only keep days they copied while Google still served them.
