Enable analytics on a domain, install the script or the React SDK, and SiteLine records pageviews and custom events. Charts cover pages, referrers, countries, devices, browsers, OS, UTMs, goals, funnels, and a live view of roughly the last 30 minutes.
The tracker is cookieless. Unique visitors are derived on the server from an anonymized IP, the user agent, and a daily salt. Only events from domains you register are accepted. Unlimited analytics domains share one event pool. On Starter and Growth, events keep ingesting after the plan limit and post-cap data stays hidden until you upgrade.
Install with a script tag or the React SDK. Optional outbound-link and download events are off until you opt in. A first-party proxy is yours to configure if you want the script on your own domain. SiteLine does not manage custom CNAMEs.
Search Console is a separate connection: read-only, 16-month backfill, kept while you subscribe. The privacy model for the tracker is on this docs page and in the privacy policy.
Start
- Register. The trial is 7 days, with no card, and plans start at $4.99/mo.
- Add a website. The install screen shows the public site id these docs call YOUR_SITE_ID.
- Paste the script or mount the React SDK. The screen waits for the first pageview, then shows live data.
- Optional: proxy the script and the collect URL through your own host if an ad blocker drops the SiteLine origin.
- Connect Google Search Console when you want queries next to those pageviews. MCP is a token on the same account, not a second product. The tools and the Cursor and Claude setup are in the Google Search Console MCP server guide.
Pageviews and custom events share one pool. Goals and funnels are rules over events you already send. They do not add a billable event when you create them.
